Scrapping Weekend! Yeah!!

Tomorrow morning early I get to head out to my cousin's place for a scrapbooking weekend! It is about a 3-1/2 hour drive, but it will be fun when I get there. I will post any favorite layouts I get done while I'm there. While I'm gone, I've left a nice list of things to do for DH and the kids to get done!

What are you making for supper tonight? I need something very quick and easy with no clean-up so I can concentrate on packing up my scrapping supplies.

I just looked through my cookbook I have saved on RecipeTips.com and remembered the recipe for Salsa Chicken. That is very good, easy, fast, and I have all the ingredients! Salsa Chicken for supper it is! along with Mexican Minute Rice, I'm set.

Fun Weekend!

Everyone had a great weekend - nice weather for once! The boys hardly got off the 4-wheelers long enough to refill with gas. They are still exhausted from all the fun. I even rode a few times, and yes, I even went in the creek, on the last day.

The woods were beautiful with wild flox and bluebells everywhere, and everything else being green, made for a lot of great photography! I had a lot of fun just shooting pictures. Of course, there are a few pics of the kids too!








We also ate a LOT of good food! cooked over the fire or grilled. We even had some Creole/BBQ chicken that was awesome - cooked by an Oklahomian (is that a word?). There may of been a cocktail or two in the mix also!

Thanks guys for the great weekend! can't wait to do it again!

Getting Ready for the Weekend

This weekend we are going camping at some friends house, actually in their woods. They have tons of trails for the kids (dh included) to ride their four wheelers! I'm thinking I'll be sitting by the fire with a cocktail in my hand most of the weekend!

Tonight is the second to the worst part, packing up. Unpacking is always the worst. I figure out what to have for groceries, what kind of clothes to bring, then pack up everything. It will be worth it though.

Tomorrow is the kids' last day of school! I will pick them up from school and take them and some friends out for ice cream to celebrate. Then we'll head to the camper. Good Times!
